Janet was one of those rare people who made every room warmer just by being in it. She would do anything for anyone who needed help — a neighbor, a stranger, a friend. She lived by simple, generous truths.
Over two years, Janet battled gallbladder cancer that had metastasized to her liver and beyond. Throughout her treatment, she sat in infusion chairs wrapped in thin hospital blankets — and her daughter Cindy never forgot that.
Wrapped in Strength was born from that memory — from the love of a daughter who wanted to make sure no cancer patient ever sat alone in the cold without something warm, handmade, and carried with care.
Every blanket we give away is a piece of Janet's spirit, stitched row by row, carried from loving hands to someone who needs it most.
